Dry weather may  prevail over the country till 6 pm today, reports UNB.
The  highest  temperature  30.5 degrees Celsius was recorded yesterday at Cox's Bazar and Srimongal  and  the lowest 12.0 degrees Celsius at Satkhira.

Action against 7 banks soon for money laundering

Bangladesh Bank has taken decision to take tough action against the banks, involved in "money laundering", popularly known as "hundy business".

The central bank has already issued separate show-cause notices on two private banks asking them to clarify why the licences of the concerned branches of the banks would not be cancelled for money laundering.
